In 2004, KUB Builders (formerly known as Ibuzawa Corporation)
rescued the Nilai Stadium project. The Nilai
Stadium was built as the main venue for
the Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA) Games 2004. The
original main contractors were terminated
for non-performance and KUB Builders (formerly known as Ibuzawa Corporation)
was given a time schedule of 100 days to
complete the stadium in time for the games.
As the only contractor courageous enough
to undertake the job under those preposterous
terms, we went to work immediately with
our sleeves rolled up. To cut a long story
short, the Nilai Stadium was handed over
to the Negeri Sembilan state government
after 77 days – a full 23 days before
the deadline! |
